Clara Lopez Beltran, 92, passed away on Monday, September 07, 2026.
Memories of My mother, her beautiful words, and her unconditional support fill my heart. Thanks to God and to you, we are who we are. Thank you for being my mother and for fighting through this long journey. Thank you for your gentle caresses, such as feeling your hand on mine, your thumb moving back and forth like that comforting massage whose touch now lives only in memory.
My Mother was a devoted mother to six cherished children and with time she was an aunt, Grandmother and lastly promoted to a Great-grandmother. Each of her roles she embraced with every fiber of her being. Her family was the pulsating heart of her existence, and she poured her affection into every interaction.
My Mother in her kitchen was a sanctuary of aroma and warmth, where delicious meals were conjured without the constraints of a written recipe. The secret, passed down through her hands and heart, is now a legacy understood by all who tasted her creations.
My Mother was like a disco ball on espresso, spinning through life and blinding everyone with joy and bulletproof optimism. She won’t just be remembered for the lives she ushered in and lovingly raised, but for the way she served up love like her cooking making every soul feel like family. Her legacy of kindness, culinary sorcery, and infinite hugs will keep our hearts (and waistlines) full for generations.
Lastly, she was nothing short of a legend. She battled for us in every arena—verbally, physically and her prayers that could move mountains. Yet beneath that fierce exterior she had a marshmallow heart for anyone who recognized her dedication to family. She was pampered by family members and adored by hundreds who couldn’t squeeze in for her service. More than just my mother, she was my cheerleader, my warrior, and she’s permanently booked a suite in my heart. Special thanks to you all, and as always, much love and God bless!
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 1:00pm at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends immediately following the service from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
Gracias a Dios y a ti, somos quienes somos.
