Loving Memory of Casey

April 26, 1982 – August 1, 2026

With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of Casey, who entered the arms of her Lord and Savior on August 1, 2026, at the age of 44.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 10:00am until 12:00pm on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112.

Casey will be deeply missed by her daughters, Taigan and Heather; her beloved mother, Susan; her cherished sister, Hannah; her bonus children, whom she loved as her own; her extended family; dear friends; and all whose lives were touched by her kindness and love.

Casey was born on April 26, 1982, and throughout her 44 years she filled the lives of those around her with kindness, compassion, and unwavering love. She lived a life rooted in faith, family, and devotion. She loved the Lord with all her heart and found comfort in our Heavenly Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. Her faith carried her through life’s greatest joys and most difficult trials, and those who knew her witnessed that faith in the way she loved and cared for others.

Above all else, Casey was a devoted mother. She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Taigan and Heather who were the greatest blessings of her life. The love she shared with them was unconditional, steadfast, and everlasting. She also opened her heart to her bonus children, Krislyn, Jace and Luke. Loving them as if they had always been her own. As well as loving all of her animals throughout the years. To Casey, family was never defined solely by blood but by the love you gave, and she gave hers freely, wholeheartedly, and without hesitation.

Casey was fiercely loyal and deeply devoted to her family. She treasured every moment spent with them and made sure they always knew they were loved. She shared a special and unbreakable bond with her sister, Hannah. Whom she loved beyond words, and she cherished every moment they spent together. She also held a deep love and admiration for her mother, Susan, whose love, guidance, and support remained a treasured part of her life. Casey’s heart was large enough to embrace every member of her family, and she never let them doubt how much they meant to her.

Those who knew Casey will remember her spirit of adventure and how she had the heart of a lion. She boldly faced adversity and relentlessly stood for what she believed to be right. Her deep heartfelt laugh would surface as she would remember and tell about the adventures with her brother in law Will and many of his friends, which became family. She suffered many deep heartfelt wounds of deceit and betrayal but through the power of the blood of Jesus was being healed of them one by one through total forgiveness. She felt and knew the truth of freedom in Christ.

Casey found joy in God’s creation’s. She loved watching thunderstorms roll across the sky and was captivated by the beautiful colors that filled the clouds before, during, and after the rain. She delighted in hummingbirds, found peace in nature, and embraced the beauty of life itself. She had a rare ability to appreciate life’s simplest moments and found wonder in the world around her.

Even through her final illness, Casey faced each day with remarkable courage and grace. Though her body grew weary, her love for those around her never faded. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, compassion, resilience, loyalty, and unconditional love that will continue to inspire everyone blessed enough to have known her.

While our hearts are broken by her absence, we find comfort in knowing she has been welcomed home into the loving arms of her Savior. We take peace in God’s promise that death is not the end for those who believe, and we look forward to the day we will see her again.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her love remains in every thunderstorm that paints the sky, every hummingbird that pauses nearby, every quiet walk through nature, and every act of kindness shared in her memory.

Rest peacefully, Casey. You were deeply loved, and you always will be. Until we meet again.
