Mr. Carson James Brown, 18, of Midland, NC, passed away on February 13, 2020. He was born in Mecklenburg county on December 28, 2001. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 5:30pm with funeral service to follow, Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Bethel United Methodist Church, 12700 Idlebrook Rd, Midland, NC 28107. Interment will be private with the family. Carson grew up in Bethel United Methodist Church of Midland and recently attended Hopewell Baptist Church of Monroe. He was a student of Bethel Elementary, C.C. Griffin Middle School, and Central Cabarrus High School. Carson loved hunting, fishing, welding and brick laying, and hiking with the love of his life, Alyssa Haney. Carson was employed by McGee Brothers where he truly loved his job as a brick mason. Carson was most known for his charming wit, laughter and crooked smile. Carson was preceded in death by his brother, Chad Brown, maternal grandparents, Bob and Nancy Rogers, paternal grandparents, Clyde and Geraldine Brown. He is survived by his loving parents, Lori and Walt Brown of Midland, NC, his sister, Katie Brown Hammill and her husband Taylor, niece, Bailey, and nephew Hunter all of Gold Hill, NC, the love of his life, Alyssa Haney of Monroe, NC, his special siblings, Clay, Caleb, and Leah, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly. The family would like to express their sincerest appreciation to the Haney family and Carson's many friends for all their love and support.
