On Tuesday, June 25, 2019, Billy Reid Marze Jr. loving husband, son, and father passed away in his home. He is survived by his parents, Billy & Brenda Marze of Monroe NC; wife, Terri Marze of Monroe NC; six children, Kristen Catoe and husband Fred Catoe of Lancaster SC, Meggan Marze of Roxboro NC, Randall Marze of Lancaster, SC, Jessica Marze of Monroe, NC, Ashley York and husband Monty of Lancaster, SC, Sherri Baham and husband Darrell of Folsom, LA; two grandchildren, Kenleigh Broderick & Katelyn Baham; brothers, Brian Marze of Monroe, NC and Brandon Marze and wife Vickie of Monroe, NC. Billy was an all around wonderful man with a passion for music, the Monroe Shrine Club and his family and fur children Dixie and Dallas. Growing up music was always his passion along with his parents and brothers. He was a member of the Rock Bottom Band and the Marze Brothers Band. He was loved by anyone he came in contact with. Family gatherings and benefits were some of the things he valued most. He worked his whole life to make sure his family had everything they needed. His love and devotion will be forever carried on. Services in honor of Billy will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 3816 Morgan Mill Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Family will receive guests at the church from 12-1, following services by Preacher Jack Hildreth at 1:00 p.m. Burial services will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe NC. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
