Billy Thomas Aldridge

Billy Thomas Aldridge, age 73, of Monroe, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on March 25, 2026, at CMC Atrium Main, surrounded by his loving family.

Billy was born on March 7, 1953, in Monroe, North Carolina, to the late Thomas Barron Aldridge and Margaret Robinson Aldridge.

He dedicated over 30 years of service as a Maintenance I employee with Charlotte Plastics before retiring. Following retirement, Billy found great joy in life’s simple pleasures—working in his garden, riding his tractor, watching races on Sundays alongside his beloved fur-son, Major, and spending time laughing and making memories with his family.

Billy was a devoted husband and father who deeply loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Angela Aldridge; his daughter, Christina Helms (Daniel); his son, Greg Aldridge (Annette); and his step-granddaughter, Taylor.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Aldridge.

A visitation will be held at 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM at Holland Funeral Service & Crematory, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, North Carolina 28112. Burial will follow at Centerview Baptist Church Cemetery, 2711 Old Pageland-Marshville Road, Marshville, North Carolina 28103.

Billy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
