Baby Girl Emily Hanna Jeffries, passed away January 7, 2016. Emily was born in Union County on January 7, 2016 to Joshua Daniel and Carmen Lynn Hanna Jeffries. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Hanna officiating. Following the funeral service there will be a committal service held in the church cemetery. The family will visit with family and friends following the committal service in the Church Fellowship Hall. In addition to her parents Emily is survived by her maternal grandparents, David and Debra Helms of Monroe, Ron and Pearl Hanna of Indian Trail; paternal grandparents, Ray and Sue Griffin of Monroe, and Homer and Julie Jeffries of Pinnacle, NC. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of CHS Union and the Women's and Children's Center who went above and beyond for the care of the family.
