It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our son, Aaron. He passed away on May 3, 2020 in his parents' arms after a long battle with SMARD. He was born May 22, 2013 in California. He leaves behind his father, Gilberto Velasco, mother, Magdalena Perez, and sister, Natalie Velasco. Aaron was a sweet, happy child who always had a smile on his face no matter what. He loved to watch t.v.m listen to nursery rhymes and play with balloons and bubbles. Aaron loved school; he was a very smart kid. He enjoyed being read books, and loved singing during school time. Aaron loved his dancing robot and always had a big smile while watching it dance. Our son was a fighter who fought an incurable disease until his body couldn't take anymore, and we will always be thankful for that. We want to thank everyone who helped us take care of him throughout the years, especially his nurses, doctors, therapists, and family. We want to invite everyone who knew and loved Aaron to come and celebrate his life this Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. The celebration of life will be held from 3:00pm until 9:00pm. Holland Funeral Service is serving the Velasco Perez family.
