Aaron Gardner Dahl, 42, passed away in his home on Tuesday, May 05, 2026 of natural causes. Aaron was born on January 14, 1984 in Plano, Texas. He now resided in Monroe, North Carolina. He was a graduate of Parkwood High School and UNCC with a Bachelor's degree in computer science. 

Known for his quick, sarcastic wit and warm smile, Aaron was always ready with a joke to lighten the mood. He had a gift of making everyone feel welcomed and valued. His kind and generous soul will remain always present in our hearts.

Aaron is lovingly survived by his mother and stepfather Lisa and Todd Collins and his father and stepmother Andrew and Allyson Dahl. As well as his brother, Cameron, and his sisters Rachel and Taylor. Aaron is also survived by his aunts, Kimberly Caruso and Casey Cyree and uncles Bob Caruso and Jesse Cyree.

Aaron was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. L.P Leahon and Mr. and Mrs. James G. Dahl.

Aaron had a love of computers, gaming, movies, music and art. He was a very talented guitar player. He also had a great love for animals, especially his cat Pip. 

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Pauline Wolfe with whom he shared a very special bond. I can only hope that she was at the gates of Heaven to greet him upon his arrival.

In lieu of funeral services, the family will hold a private celebration of his life.
